Kavita Iyer
Managing Trustee, SIFF
As Managing Trustee of SIFF, Kavita drives the strategy and direction of all our programs. Deeply passionate about bridging the gap of inequity, she aspires to create unique and meaningful opportunities in the fields of education and the arts. She also serves on the Board of Trustees of Plaksha University.
Prior to this, she was the Co-founder of Minglebox, a start-up in India's online education space. Earlier in her career, she worked with Wipro Technologies, ICICI Bank, and the Tata Administrative Service, where she was an early member of the founding team of Tanishq.
Kavita is an alumnus of IIT Delhi and IIM Ahmedabad. She is an avid Hindustani vocalist and brings her passion for music into the vision and culture of SIFF.
Sandeep Singhal
Co-founder and Trustee, SIFF
As Co-founder and Trustee of SIFF, Sandeep guides the vision for the Foundation's work in education and the arts.
Sandeep Singhal is the Co-founder and Managing Director of WestBridge Capital. Prior to founding WestBridge, he was the Co-founder and Managing Director of Sequoia Capital India. Over the years, he has invested in and served on the boards of more than 20 public and private companies.
Sandeep is a Trustee of the India Foundation for the Arts and is also a founder of both the IIT Delhi Endowment and the IIM Ahmedabad Endowment. He serves as a trustee on the board of the Ashoka Trust for Research in Ecology and the Environment (ATREE).
Sandeep holds an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad, an MS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois, where he was awarded the Abraham Lincoln Fellowship, and a B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering from IIT Delhi.
